We're so glad you're here
UBC Mountain Bike Club is located on the unceded traditional territories of the xÊ·mÉ™θkÊ·É™yÌ“É™m (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and sÉ™lilwÉ™taɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. We acknowledge their ancestors who nourished the land for centuries before it was stolen. This is the land that we have the privilege of riding on and learning from today.

There are incredible programs and organizations throughout BC that work to unite mountain biking and indigenous communities. We encourage you to learn more about their work and how to contribute.
Who Are We?
UBC Mountain Bike Club was (re)established in the Fall of 2022 by a few passionate mountain bikers at UBC. The club started as a group chat with some friends who wanted a fellow community of bikers. In time, we have grown into an official UBC club with over 75 members. Each of us are at different levels of riding, we have different backgrounds and experiences, but we are connected through our appreciation of the outdoors and our love for riding bikes! We organize bike rides, social events, and mountain bike trips for our members. All are welcome in our space.

Our Goals
01
To establish a well-known community of and for mountain bikers at UBC.
02
To provide an enjoyable and safe environment for our community to engage in bike related fun.
03
To support all people and groups, to the best of our abilities, in accessing mountain biking.

Meet the Team.
Here are the people working behind the scenes making everything happen! We are completely volunteer-run and every executive and committee member is here out of love for the dirt and our riding community. Although we have traditional roles for simplicity purposes, we are a non-hierarchical team, so all of our opinions are equally considered and valued.
